That makes it particularly appealing for riders who want a folding bike that is easier to lift, store and transport than many conventional 20-inch folders, without giving up a practical riding position or useful everyday equipment.

A 250W rear hub motor produces up to 42Nm of torque and works with a torque sensor, so assistance responds to how hard you pedal rather than simply switching on with crank movement. Shimano Tourney 7-speed gearing gives you useful flexibility as gradients change, while the 36V 7Ah seat-post battery keeps the main frame clean and uncluttered.

Tektro M280 hydraulic disc brakes, 20-inch wheels with a quick-release front wheel and a colour display complete a specification that feels noticeably more premium than a basic lightweight folder. Available in Gloss Grey or Duck Egg colour, the CarbonStep is a strong fit for commuting, motorhome travel, compact storage and riders who want low-step convenience without the weight penalty that often comes with larger folding e-bikes.

Specifications

Motor: 250W rear hub motor

Maximum torque: 42 Nm

Sensor: torque sensor

Battery: 36V 7Ah (252Wh) removable seat-post battery

Gears: Shimano Tourney 7-speed derailleur

Brakes: Tektro M280 hydraulic disc brakes

Wheels: 20-inch

Front wheel: quick release

Frame: carbon-fibre low step-through folding frame

Display: colour display

Bike weight: 17 kg including battery

Bike weight without battery: 14.5 kg

Colours: Gloss Grey and Duck Egg

Battery position: integrated into seat post

Folded dimensions: 78cm x 67cm x 47cm

Maximum payload: 105 kg

Recommended rider height: 155cm - 185cm (5'1" - 6'1")

Charging time: 3 hours

Manufacturer range: up to 70 km

Please note, the pictures used are for colour reference only, rear rack is not included in the price.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0876/3667/2855/files/E-GoCarbonStepFoldingCityE-Bike-DuckEgg.jpg?v=1791296626
https://chilledrides.co.uk/products/e-go-carbonstep-lightweight-folding-e-bike-250w-15-5mph-top-speed-eapc
