Cycle To Work Schemes
Chilled Rides currently accept Cycle to Work orders via 4 of the main providers - Green Commute Initiative, Bike2Work Scheme, Cycle Solutions, and Enjoy Benefits - allowing you to spread the cost monthly through your wages.
No interest, no upfront payment.
Since employers take the cost of the bike out of your salary before tax is applied, you can save up to 47% depending on your tax bracket.
How Do Cycle Schemes Work?
It's pretty straightforward really, just follow the simple steps below!
1. Choose Your Bike
Browse our UK road-legal e-bikes (EAPCs) to find your ideal ride. Whether you're looking for long range, fat tyres, a folding frame for the office, or a step-through frame for easy mounting and dismounting, we've got you covered.
2. Apply via your employer’s scheme
Find out which cycle scheme your employer offers, and submit your application to the scheme for your chosen bike. Remember, you can also use cycle schemes to cover the cost of any accessories like helmets and bicycle locks.
3. Get your voucher / certificate
Once your employer has reviewed your application and paid for your cycle scheme package, you'll get an e-certificate or voucher which you can use to buy your bike and/or any accessories.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs
Can I use Cycle to Work for e-bikes?
Yes, you can use Cycle to Work for any e-bikes classed as "Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles" (EAPCs). These are legal to ride anywhere you can go with a regular bike, without needing a licence, registration or insurance. Riders must be at least 14 years old.
What if my employer uses a different scheme?
If your employer's chosen cycle to work scheme isn't listed above, please let us know. We're adding new schemes all the time.
Do I own the bike at the end?
Cycle schemes are basically a hire agreement. Once you reach the end of the agreement term, you'll have the option to make a small extra payment to keep your bike.
What accessories are included?
We can provide all the usual accessories, like helmets, bicycle locks, phone holders, pannier racks, safety equipment etc. Just contact us to let us know what you would like to include with your order.
How long does it take?
Depending on the scheme and your employer, you should be able to get your e-certificate or "Letter of Collection" within a couple of days or so.
Once we have your order, it then typically takes another 3-7 working days for shipment to mainland UK.
Delivery can take longer for customised items, bikes being dispatched fully assembled, and for shipments to Northern Ireland, North Scotland, and any UK non-mainland addresses.
